| Information: Marguerite was a Filles du Roi (King's Daughter). According to the records there is nothing to indicate Marguerite Le Roy (or D'Anneville) was considered a King's Daughter. However, on the rolls there is a Marguerite Roy which I believe to be her. C. Tanguay also identifies her as a King's Daughter and indicates she was already widowed when she arrived in Canada. |
