Information: Although Joe did not have a lot of formal education, he was an extremely intelligent man. It was not unusual for him to come up against an issue, pick up a book, and learn everything he needed to know to solve the problem. He enjoyed work but was very personable and everyone enjoyed his company. He had his favorite restaurants (Weeks) and all the waitresses knew and loved him. He loved to garden and was always proud of growing pole beans. |
